Hitting the Trisuli is the most convenient means of experiencing Nepal’s river rafting. You have a combination of both which and scenic floats. The Trisuli river originates in Tibet and flows through the middle hill of the Mahabharat range, it is joined at Mugling by the river Marshyandi, flowing from the Annapurna range, ultimately flowing into the Narayani river which flows through the Royal Chitwan National Park in the Terai.
A General Itinerary:
The itinerary generalizes the route. Water leave and river conditions may necessitate variations to camping spots and timings occasionally. Kathmandu (01)
Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival, meeting and assistance at Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer to Hotel.
PM: Free and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Hundi Rafting Approx. 4 hrs.
After an early breakfast we drive to benighat, our raft ‘put-in-point’ along the Tribhuvan Rajpath encountering excellent views of the famous terraced cultivations and (Weather permitting) views of the about 3 hrs. While tea is served, the crew prepares the raft and long after, we are on our way hitting the first rapid immediately. Seven sets of fun filled rapid for the day.
Day 03: Mugling Rafting approx. 3.5 hrs.
Soon we are in the river hitting small rapids occasionally with some pleasant floats. Five sets rapids of the day.
Day 04: Jugedi Rafting Approx: 3.5 hrs.
After breakfast we are again in the river good fun filled rapids enroute, passing through the beautiful Trisuli gorge, we hit three to four sets of rapids but the one most challenging and demanding is the one at the confluence of the Seti Khola, rest of the day is mostly scenic floats.
Day 05: Narayanghat Rafting approx 2hrs.
Soon we are in the river hitting small rapids, not long after we are in the confluence of the Kali Gandaki river where we stop for a while to visit the temples and sadhus of Devghat, from there it is a pleasant float till Narayanghat. Drive back to Kathmandu, Pokhara or RoyalChitwanNational Park.

We provide the following services for the duration of the trip:
All meals – breakfast,
lunch and dinner while rafting.
All camping equipment such as two – man
tents, light mattresses, sleeping bags
and kitchen utensils.
Helmets, life –jackets and kit-bags
with polythene paper lining to keep your
clothes and sleeping bags dry.
Rafting crew consisting of an experienced controller, paddlers, cook and helper.
Following is the list of items the clients are expected to bring along. Please travel as light you can:
At least two extra sets of dry clothes.
As it cold from Novermber through February,
a waterproof jacket will be very handy.
While trousers, pullovers or jackets are
needed for the morning and evenings during
this period, shorts and T-shirts will sufficient
for the months of September, October, March,
April and May. As the clients will arrive
completerly soaked on shore, at the camp
sites, immediate change into dry set of
clothing is necessary. Treak –suits
are the most popular item for many rafters.
Waterproof drums for your cameras, and a second pair of tennis shoes or sleeper for use around the camp.
Proctection from the sun such as sun-glasses, sun-hats, cream and lotions to prevent sunburn and insect repellants during the warmer months.
Electric torchlights as the use of candles is not advisable inside the tents.
Please don’t carry unnecessary valuables, once the trip start refund will not be entertained.
